About this Class
Magen Am runs private sessions at any skill level, with a curriculum tailored for your group. We will accommodate between 1 – 10 people in each session. Minors are allowed to attend as long as a parent is present and they are old enough to follow all safety instructions.

Private Pistol Training Sessions
Note: NO FIREARM IS NEEDED to participate in any of our sessions. We can provide the equipment necessary for your training.
Private Basic Intro to Pistol
- Rate: $180 per person
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Class Size: Maximum of 2 students per session
- Location: Los Angeles Area
- Included: Eye/ear protection, 1 target, and 50 rounds of ammunition.
This private course is designed specifically for those with little to no prior experience. We bridge the gap between curiosity and confidence by splitting the session between hands-on dry training (simulations) and live-fire practice.
Private Advanced & Group Sessions
Except for the Intro course, students typically provide their own ammunition; however, please see the ammo availability notes below.
1. Private 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 Sessions
- Location: Los Angeles Area
- Private 60 Minutes: $150 per person
- Private 120 Minutes: $300 per person
- Ammo: Can be provided for an additional fee.
2. Private Small Group Sessions (3 Students)
- Los Angeles Location: Standard Private Rate + $100 flat fee. (Ammo can be provided for an additional fee).
- Piru Outdoor Bay: $275 per person. (Ammo can be purchased at the range office).
3. Private Large Group Lessons (4+ Students)
Location: Outdoor Bay (Piru) exclusively
Rate: $275 per person
Duration: 3.5 Hours
Ammo: Can be purchased at the range office.
